Sandra Bullock’s Sweet PCA Speech Honoring Working Moms
Sandra Bullock, 59, has been praised by her sister Gesine Bullock-Prado following the death of her long-term partner Bryan Randall.
The model-turned-photographer died aged 57 after a three-year battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) on Saturday.
Following the news of his death, Gesine took to Instagram to pay tribute to her late brother-in-law.
Alongside a smiley picture of him holding a cigar, she wrote: “I’m convinced that Bry has found the best fishing spot in heaven and is already casting his lure into rushing rivers teaming with salmon.”
She went on to say that the rare neurological disease was “cruel” but that she had “some comfort” knowing he was taken good care of her by her “amazing sister” and “the band of nurses she assembled who helped her look after him in their home”.

The Lost City actress had been in a relationship with Bryan since 2015.
They tended to keep their life away from the public eye and were rarely pictured together.
The couple’s last public sighting was back in 2020 when she was seen gazing at him as they arrived to an intimate gathering in Studio City with her two children.
He also supported her at the Oceans 8 World Premiere in New York back in 2018.
Last night, Bryan’s family said he had chosen to keep his illness private for three years.
They added to People: “Those of us who cared for him did our best to honour his request.
“We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of this illness with us and to the astounding nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours.
“At this time we ask for privacy to grieve and to come to terms with the impossibility of saying goodbye to Bryan.”
According to Mayo Clinic, ALS is a nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.
The disease causes loss of muscle control and can get worse over time.
Eventually, it can affect control of the muscles needed to move, speak, eat and breathe.
There is currently no cure for the disease.
