Heather Rae Young has excitedly announced the gender of her first child with husband Tarek El Moussa following a lavish gender reveal party where the Selling Sunset star was surrounded by family, friends and co-stars.
Heather tied the knot with Tarek last year, and are now expecting their first child together.
Meanwhile, Tarek shares two kids with his ex wife Christina Haack: Taylor, 11, and Brayden, six.
Sharing the news on Instagram alongside a string of professional photos where Heather could be seen showcasing her blossoming bump, the 34 year old real estate agent wrote: “Surprise!!! Baby El Moussa coming early 2023!!" followed by a white heart emoji.
Now, following a glamorous baby shower, Heather and Tarek have found out that their unborn baby will be a boy.
The couple discovered the sex of their new arrival by shooting surprise confetti cannons into the air – which saw their yard suddenly become a lot more blue.
Each of Heather, Tarek, Taylor and Brayden had a confetti cannon each and when the news was revealed screams and cheers could be heard from the background.
An overjoyed Tarek then shouts: "It's a boy!"
Ahead of the gender reveal party, Heather shared snaps of herself getting glammed up for her and Tarek’s big announcement.
In a video shared to her Instagram Story, the mum-to-be was surrounded by a glam squad as step-daughter Taylor was also getting some pampering.
She then proceeded to ask the 11 year old if she was “team boy or team girl”, to which she replied: “team girl!”
Meanwhile, Heather said: “I don’t care either way, I’m just excited to find out.”
The doting step-mum went on to share a snap of six year old Brayden, who’s allegedly “team boy”.
The night before the big day, Heather admitted that she was “way too excited” so, in an attempt to distract herself, began browsing interior designs for nurseries.
Sharing a string of chic-looking rooms, she wrote on Instagram: “Wayyy too excited for tomorrow so I’m trying to distract myself by planning the nursery.
“I know I can’t realllyyy plan it out until I know the gender but so far I’m going for a neutral vibe so: which of these do you guys like the best for inspo??”
Heather’s Selling Sunset pals have been just as excited as her, with Emma Hernan leading the comments.
“I can’t wait omg!!!” said Emma, which she followed with a thread of heart-eye emojis.
She penned on a separate post: “Love you mama!!!! Can’t wait to find out the gender of the little peanut!!!!”
Selling Sunset newcomer Chelsea Lazkani added: “Love you ssss much! Couldn’t be happier for your growing family”.
