Shane Warnes £17m fortune divided between kids as ex Liz Hurley is left nothing in will

Late cricketeer Shane Warne has left out his ex-fiancée Elizabeth Hurley in his will, and has awarded his three children his £17 million fortune between them.

Shane died aged 52 after suffering a heart attack on 4 March last year.

The Australian sportsman has left his mass fortune to his children, which will be split equally between them at 31%. The remaining 7% of his fortune has been left to his brother Jason and his two children Sebastian and Tyla.

Shane did not list the mother of his children, his ex-wife Simone Callahan in his will, nor ex-fiancée Elizabeth, 57.

The late cricket legend was married for 15 years up until 2005.

Following the end of his marriage, Shane dated Elizabeth and the pair later got in engaged in 2011. The pair eventually split in 2013, however remained friends.

Shane’s death of a suspected heart attack was confirmed in March after he was discovered unresponsive while on holiday in Ko Samui, Thailand.

Elizabeth took to Instagram at the time to give tribute to her ex Shane, writing: “I feel like the sun has gone behind a cloud forever. RIP my beloved Lionheart."

The Royals star posted a series of photos of herself with Shane to accompany her mournful caption.

Shane previously described his years dating Elizabeth as “the happiest of my life”, as he revealed he still “cared deeply” about the actress.

The sportsman admitted though that he’d simultaneously found that period of time tough, due to the media attention their relationship received.

“We couldn’t go anywhere else because we’d just get 30-40 people, photographers, news crews, everywhere we went,” Shane said.

"We had seven cars following us and a helicopter over our head just following us, running red lights, cutting off in front of us.

"We tried to keep things as normal as possible but it got scary."

Back when they were engaged, Elizabeth travelled to Shane’s home country of Australia to meet his children.

And it appears the actress is still on good terms with Shane’s kids all these years later, as she was seen sending a supportive message to the late star’s youngest daughter Summer last year, following his death.

Elizabeth had responded to Summer’s heartbreaking post dedicated to her father.

She wrote: "I love you, Summer. Your daddy worshipped you," and added a red heart emoji.

Summer replied: "@elizabethhurley1 love u so much," with a red heart emoji sent back.
