Devastated actress Sharon Stone, 63, revealed her 11-month-old nephew and godson River has sadly died. It is understood that the tot passed away just days after he was found in his crib after suffering “severe organ failure”, which left him in a coma.

Please pray for him. We need a miracle

She broke the tragic news on her Instagram, where she shared a moving tribute to River in a series of home videos.

The star captioned the post: “River William Stone. Sept. 8, 2020 – Aug. 30, 2021.”

The tot was the youngest child of Sharon’s younger brother Patrick and his wife Tasha, who share three other children.

The Basic Instinct actress announced the news on Friday that River was suffering from “total organ failure” and would need a “miracle” to survive.

Alongside a heartbreaking snap of the youngster in hospital, she wrote: “My nephew and godson River Stone was found in his crib w total organ failure today.

“Please pray for him. We need a miracle.”

Among fans rushing to the comments section to share their condolences with the family were the film star’s fellow celebrity pals who wanted to send her their love.

Model Andie MacDowell offered her sympathy, commenting: “I’m so sorry lord.”

Actor Leslie Jordan added: “This breaks my heart. I’m in pieces right now.”

Billy Porter said: “So sorry for your loss. Sending you all the love and peace that’s possible.”

Actress Hilary Swank also wrote: “I’m so sorry. Deep heartfelt prayers for your family.”

Others sent messages of sympathy, with one writing: “I am so sorry for your loss. May your family find the strength to make it through this difficult time.”

Another penned: “Oh I’m so sorry for your loss. How sad.”

After River was airlifted to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Tasha penned a plea for prayers on her Facebook page.

“This is the HARDEST thing I have ever had to post but I am BEGGING everyone and anyone who prays please pray HARD for River,” the distraught mother wrote.

“Every single second of this is literally killing me. I just want my sweet sweet boy back.”

She went on to detail that doctors had told her River would “never be the same” if he ever woke up from his coma.

“The doctor said if he does pull through he will never be the same,” she continued.

“Please I am begging for prayers that my baby can be healed and come back with his family who love him so very much. I am beyond heartbroken.”

River’s parents have yet to speak out on their tragic loss.
