Pregnant Loose Women presenter Stacey Solomon, 31, has detailed her fears over having a “horrendous” birth as she prepares to welcome her baby girl with fiancé Joe Swash, 39, any day now. The star also admitted she’s concerned she’ll have no choice but to ask the workmen who are currently renovating Pickle Cottage to give her a lift to the hospital, amid the ongoing fuel crisis in the UK.

Stacey took to her Instagram Stories to share her worries yesterday, telling her 4.7 million followers that she “can’t believe” she’s still pregnant.

However, the mum-of-three explained she has been “clinging on to every second” of her pregnancy, as she knows it will likely be her last.

While lying in bed, she said: “I’m laying here thinking I can’t believe I’m still pregnant, I really thought I’d have had her by now.

“It’s the first time I’ve been pregnant and not wished the end bit away because I’m so excited to meet them.

“I’m so excited to meet her of course, but I know this is most likely our last pickle so I’m clinging on to every second of it.”

Stacey went on to get candid about her concerns about going into labour, predicting that giving birth will be “horrendous”.

She added: “But I was also thinking I’ve actually got to get her here now. Gotta push her out, Ive been in denial about it for the past nine months I think.

The former X Factor contestant quipped: “I’m hoping that it’s number four so I’ll just sneeze her out or a quick cough. But I know it’s gonna be horrendous!

“I know its not bad for everyone but I don’t love labour, if I’m honest. I think it really hurts!”

Stacey went on to add: “I know some people love labour. And that’s amazing.

“But as much as I love the end result my gosh I’m not excited for the pain that’s about to come.”

Earlier in the day, Stacey lamented the petrol issues currently plaguing the UK, admitting that her fiancé Joe is the “only one with fuel left” in their household.

The presenter also worried the fuel crisis could impact her when she goes into labour.

Stacey previously revealed she was refusing to panic buy fuel, after queues built up at petrol stations across the country following reports of a shortage over the weekend.

As a result, Stacey shared she might need to ask the workmen at her home for a lift to the hospital if Joe’s campervan runs out of fuel.

She wrote alongside a snap of her and Joe’s youngest son Rex: “Good morning, Joe did all the school runs in the camper this morning. He’s the only one with fuel left!

“He’s got work today so I’m excited for a day of just me and my paintbrush.”

Stacey added of the renovations going on at home: “Our fireplace is being fitted today and hopefully the utility tap so if I go into labour, they’ll have to give me a lift to the hospital.

“Hope you’re all ok. Happy Tuesday! Love from me and the white matt emulsion all over my face.”(sic)

Elsewhere, Stacey recently shared she was less than impressed with Joe’s birthing support technique as they practiced together.

The expectant mother said: “Just sitting in here trying to wind down for the evening and Joe’s decided he’s going to practise how he’s going to be when I give birth.

“If it’s anything like the last time, I don’t want it,” she joked.
