Taylor Swift has confirmed that her highly anticipated album, 1989 (Taylor’s Version), will arrive in October.
The re-recorded version of the superstar’s 2014 album will be released on October 27.
Making the news public through her social media accounts, Swift said she is excited to announce her latest album.
“The 1989 album changed my life in countless ways, and it fills me with such excitement to announce that my version of it will be out October 27th,” Swift said on Twitter. “To be perfectly honest, this is my most FAVORITE re-record I’ve ever done because the five From The Vault tracks are so insane.”
“I can’t believe they were ever left behind. But not for long,” she added, referring to five unreleased songs from The Vault that will be featured on 1989 (Taylor’s Version).
1989 (Taylor’s Version) is available to pre-order from Swift’s official website.
The album will be issued in Crystal Skies Blue vinyl, CD and cassette formats.
Swift is also offering four special-edition deluxe versions of the CD – Crystal Skies Blue, Rose Garden Pink, Aquamarine Green and Sunrise Boulevard Yellow.
