Taylor Swift Dodges Bracelets Thrown at Her During Eras Tour Amid Troubling Trend

After a video shows the ‘Lavender Haze’ singer getting startled by objects thrown at her when leaving the stage, Swfities are enraged by the ‘stupid’ and ‘disrespectful’ behavior shown by some concertgoers.

AceShowbizTaylor Swift is not immune to a troubling trend that has occurred among concertgoers. While Swifties have been known as one of the most loyal fanbases, some fans have shown troubling behavior by throwing objects at the star during her “The Eras Tour”.

In a video which has circulated online from one of the Grammy winner’s recent concerts, she was leaving the stage and walking through a gangway with a number of bodyguards escorting her. She was waving to the fans when some people sitting above threw things, which were claimed to be bracelets, at her.

One of the objects got too close to the 33-year-old singer/songwriter and she was seen cowering in startled reaction. The security guards could be seen trying to either catch or bat away the object as the fans above screamed in excitement at the sight of the star. The bodyguards then warned the crowd as she walked aside to avoid another object being thrown at her.

The video was reportedly originally posted on TikTok. In the caption, the original poster wrote, “To clarify: I didn’t throw any bracelets at her. I know people are stitching this and saying their piece.”

The video has since sparked outrage among Swifties, who are concerned about Taylor’s safety. “that’s f**king stupid and disrespectful,” one fan reacted to the video. Another wrote, “This is not right… They should respect these artists.”

A third user noted, “She was waving and smile and then those freak got her scared she walked away fast.” Someone called for an end to the throwing trend, “this is insane and needs to be stopped somehow.”

A fifth commenter similarly asked, “Stop throwing s**t at people!!!!!” Someone else raised concern about how it may affect future live performance as saying, “If this trend keeps going, the live performance experience will be affected forever and concert safety guidelines will be changed cuz of this stupidity.”

Prior to this, Bebe Rexha got injured in the eye after a fan threw phone at her during her concert in New York City back in June. Since then, a number of celebrities like Harry Styles, Pink and Drake got similar treatment during their respective show.
