The Chase star Jenny Ryan forced to hit back at cruel troll

The Chase star Jenny Ryan hit back at a troll who described her as their “least favourite” Chaser.

Jenny, who’s nicknamed ‘The Vixen’ on the popular ITV game show, was tweeted by a viewer who went out of his way to share negative comments about her.

The now-deleted tweet directed at Jenny, 39, read: “You are our least favourite (apart from @ Darragh Ennis).”

"You just come across as a complete smarta***”, he added.

The Chaser then perfectly clapped back at the online troll replying: “Literally my job, babe x”.

At the time of writing, Jenny’s response has been liked over 15,000 times.

Darragh himself then weighed in on the matter writing: “Ooh, I'm the least favourite? Finally I beat you at something!”

Jenny then quipped: “My favourite bit of the Tweet is his attempt and failure to tag you.”

As well as Darragh, others came to Jenny’s defence and gushed over the 39 year old.

Someone said: “I think you are lovely Jenny. I like all the Chasers. I don't understand people who find it necessary to be so rude and unkind”.

Another person penned: “Wow there’s some nasty people are there. What confuses me is If you don’t like them there is another button on your remote to turn over.”

A third wrote: “Literally the reason I like you! Smart powerful woman front and centre standing in her own knowledge that she rocks… I’m here for exactly that. You’re an inspiration to millions of people watching you so I say long may it continue”.

Back in November, Jenny used Twitter as a platform tocall out her doctor for “fat shaming” her.

Jenny wrote at the time: "Isn't modern life great? Your GP can now fat-shame you over the phone, so you don't have to waste time travelling and sitting in a waiting room before being made to feel awful about your own existence!"

She added: "Do you know your current weight?… Oh… That's *significantly* lower than last time, well done. Not good enough though, is it?"

Jenny’s tweet went on to be retweeted by dozens of her followers, some of whom shared their own experiences. Others shared their disgust at what she’d experienced.

“This is why plus size people suffer with illnesses unrelated to their weight, I've not seen an actual doctor in over 4 years, never got counselling about my mother's death because of fat shaming doctors!!,” said one person.

Another Twitter-user said she’d been experiencing the same issue for decades from her GP.
