Tyson Fury paid himself £70,000 last year despite banking a whopping £40million.
The boxer, 33, earned a massive £20m after beating Deontay Wilder, 36, at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas in October, but he insists on living by a frugal budget, according to his company’s year end accounts.
A source told The Sun: ‘He’s extremely careful with money and knows the value of it.

‘He’s not extravagant or flamboyant like some boxers are and lives a very modest lifestyle.’

Tyson has a total of £28.7m in Tyson Fury Ltd which holds payments from his fights, with 2021 books revealing his modest payout while in 2020 he took out £2,000.

Figures registered with Companies House show he invested £3.4m and £3.1m is owed from other sources, meaning his firm is worth £39.5m.
In February last year, the sports star launched a merchandise offering to cash in on his fame.
The news comes after Paris gave fans a glimpse of her family life with Tyson and their children, sharing heartwarming snap over the festive period.
Influencer Paris took to the photosharing platform on Christmas Day while sporting matching white-and-red pyjamas with the boxer, 33, and their brood.
In her caption, she wrote: ‘Merry Christmas from the Fury’s house. It’s a bit blurry, we did a countdown selfie cus obviously we were all in this one.’
