Ulrika Jonsson has debuted her new tattoo on social media while giving the nod to International Women’s Day.
Ulrika, 54, took to Instagram on Wednesday 9 March – a day after the special day that celebrates women across the globe.
In a string of photos, Ulrika shared a selfie, followed by a snap of her new ink on her forearm. The tattoo reads “[fem-uh-nist]”.
She also posted a photograph with her two daughters, Martha, 17, and Bo, 21, who recentlyshared her support for her mum following her recent Celebs Go Dating stint and said she was “proud” of her.
The TV star wrote alongside the photos: “I was born in an egalitarian country and I carry and apply that standard wherever I go. Sometimes digging my heels in and showing my obstinance makes others uncomfortable.
“I will continue to surround myself with strong women; I hope I’m bringing two up and that – most importantly – I leave behind two strong feminist sons."
“If you’re not a feminist, you’re on the wrong side of equality,” the mum-of-four added.
Fellow Celebs Go Dating star Nikita Jasmine commented on the post: “Wowww love these pics! and love you”.
Nikita recently opened up about her friendship with Ulrika, and branded her co-star as being “funny as f***”.
“Always a wonderful woman – a power house of grace, experience, knowledge & loveliness. Happy womens day beautiful one,” wrote someone else on Ulrika’s post.
“Beautiful keep being yourself,” added someone else, as a fourth person penned: “You’re looking fab as always. I love your posts as you are always so honest. Keeping doing what you’re doing!”
Her feminist tattoo isn’t the only new ink Ulrika’s showcased recently, as just last weekthe 54 year old showed off her new flower tattoo.
Ulrika’s new ink is of a large pink peony placed just above her elbow.
The piece of body art joins an extensive number of others decorated all over her arms and body, which include several other floral designs as well as a devil tattoo on the bum.
Ulrika’s ink also includesa tribute to her late dog Fellawho passed away last year. In a way of remembering her beloved pooch, she got an "EF Fella" arm tattoo, which stood for the foundation she adopted her dog from.
