Victoria and David Beckham are said to be discussing a potential documentary about their life as a married couple.
The pair reportedly hope that the idea of a new TV series would give viewers an insight into their lives and change the public perception of them following a string of negative reports.
A source told New magazine: ‘This opportunity is a bit of a make or break because they’ve both had a bit of bad press.
‘They’re both keen to get their image back up. It’s probably one of the most important projects they’ll ever have.’
They continued: ‘As a businesswoman, Victoria is a bit of a control freak and a few heads will roll if she doesn’t have the final say.
‘David wants it to be an organic, raw portrayal, while Victoria will want a picture-perfect image of family life, so they’ll have to meet in the middle.
‘They’re hoping it will drive the Beckham dynasty into billionaires’ row.’
This isn’t the first time Victoria, 46, and David, 45, have starred together in a documentary – they also appeared in The Real Beckhams in 2003, which was broadcast on ITV and focused on their move to Spain after David was signed to football club Real Madrid.
It comes after it was reported that David had teamed up with Netflix for a series based around his life and career.
The streaming service and Amazon were both said to be taking pitches from his production company Studio 99 for the documentary.
‘It’s going to be about David’s life post-football, the creation of his new team in Miami, but will have some personal content too,’ an insider told The Sun.
‘Interest in his life and family is huge. Everyone has high hopes for this.’
