Walker Hayes, Kesha Throw Impromptu Party In New Fancy Like Video

Walker Hayes and Kesha have released a music video for their version of “Fancy Like Me.”

The music video shows the two artists throwing an impromptu party in a parking lot. Filmed in Los Angeles and directed by Rehman Ali, the rising country star and the pop princess are seen having a good time in the clip.

“This song came out of a conversation about the misconceptions that celebrities or artists live a lavish lifestyle, and it’s important for folks to know that’s not necessarily true,” Hayes said in a press release.

“I’m truly about as fancy as Applebee’s on a date night, so creating a video celebrating the simple moments in life — like watching a movie or drinking box wine — was important to us. Kesha and I each bring our own versions of ‘Fancy Like’ to this, and I love how it came together,” he adds.

Hayes had co-wrote “Fancy Like Me” with Cameron Bartolini, Shane Stevens and Josh Jenkins. Currently, the song continues to rule over the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, its 12th week an No. 1, and is at No. 5 on Billboard‘s all-genre Hot 100 Songs chart.
