People quickly share their opinion on the 55-year-old TV host’s abnormal behavior with one fan assuming that it has something to do with her divorce from estranged husband Kevin Hunter.
AceShowbiz -Is Wendy Williams okay? The TV personality made her viewers question her sobriety following her erratic behavior in the latest episode of her show “Wendy @ Home”.
In the Monday, April 13 episode, the 55-year-old could be seen exhibiting somewhat erratic behavior, prompting people to assume if she was relapsing after overcoming drug and alcohol addictions. She could be seen weeping while talking about Easter, saying that it was “unbearable.”
She then greeted her first guest, who asked her, “Hi, Wendy! How are you doing?” to which she answered, “A mess.” At some point, the mom of one talked about the fake burger that she put in front of her. “I wished it wasn’t fake. I want to have a bite,” she said while crying.
People quickly shared their opinion on the TV host’s abnormal behavior. Assuming that it had something to do with her divorce from Kevin Hunter, one fan wrote, “This is her first Easter single, her son isn’t home with her, and she’s quarantined alone. She doesn’t need drugs to have this type of break down; it’s called grief.” Echoing the sentiment, a person noted, “She just got divorced and she’s in isolation . She will be ok.”
Another fan commented that the thing she needed the most right now was support. “She’s ok .. she’s feeling what a lot of people is feeling right now .. it’s just that she a public figure and. it’s just being televised.. nothing to see here … we got this . Let’s support each other,” the fan said.
“Listen let’s not pretend like this sheltering in business is easy for many of us. Some of us may be able to cope better than others but this s**t is crazy! I wouldn’t be surprised that anyone is having a little difficulty getting through. Prayers up for Wendy,” one other supporter chimed in.
While Wendy has yet to address the allegations, she previously opened up about her own struggle with drugs. “Once you’re a substance abuser, you have to battle that for the rest of your life,” she told her viewers back in March 2019.
“I’ve told you about my 10-year ride with the cocaine and the crack. Oh, yes, crack is wack — but it was very good to me at a particularly stupid point in my life. … I was a mess, functioning, killing myself. I realize that I am a walking addict. Do you know what I’m saying? You can’t just clean it up and stop it and think it’s not going to affect you,” she added.
