It’s been an incredible year in TV. There have been unforgettable moments and performances, and one of the most talked about series of the year was undoubtedly Bridgerton. The show premiered back in December 2020, and nearly one year later, we’re still burning for our favorite moments from the series, which earned 11 Emmy nominations and one win already! Among those nominations for the show, the series’ breakthrough star, Regé-Jean Page, had a brilliant year.
The actor earned so much attention for his role as Simon Basset, and much of that praise has brought him to the Primetime Emmy Awards tonight! The young actor earned his very first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, gracing the red carpet with his presence for the ceremony — and we were not disappointed by what we saw.
Page looked just as dashing as ever in his suit for the evening’s festivities. Honestly, we can see why so many people have been lobbying for the actor to be the next James Bond. Page looked cool, calm, and confident on the red carpet, though we’re sure there were quite a few nerves as Page stepped out with the likes of Josh O’Connor, Billy Porter, and more of his fellow nominees. This was surely a night that Page would never forget, and we won’t forget it, either. Check out some of the best photos of this talented star making his Primetime Emmy Awards debut!
