Clogs are in, releasing in all sorts of collaborative offerings from brands like Crocs, Jordan, adidas and more. The latest to join the party is ADER error, participating through an inline offering of the quintessential summer shoe, that it’s calling the “Curve; Sabot.”
The South Korea-based brand, known for its playful juxtaposed concepts, colors and cuts has particularly leaned into the exaggerated almost cartoonish volume seen across a variety of footwear releases today, from MSCHF‘s Big Red Boot to Marni‘s latest sneaker.
The Curve; Sabot is available in two different material options, the first is a more traditional take with a “yellow” brown cowhide covering the silhouette completely and the only other material immediately present is a rubber crepe outsole. Accents on this shoe include a stitched square at each toe in ADDER’s signature blue, with the same thread being found at the heel of the insole. Additionally, the shoe features an almost transparent threaded “Zigzag” logo at the midsection of the upper.
While it is clearly still the same silhouette, the Curve; Sabot in “Multi” might as well be another shoe. The pair offers a woven facade made of artificial rattan, darker tones of cowhide leather framing the shoe and found throughout the inner, as well as a more accentuated “Zigzag” logo, this time found in the brand’s signature blue.
The clogs are available now on ADER’s official site for $352.76 with a customer account.
