The Air Jordan 35 Low has attracted a sizable amount of attention in recent memory as it has been fashioned in many a player exclusive form for Jumpman roster members Caris LeVert, Obi Toppin and Luka Dončić. However, the hardwood-ready silhouette is now taking a step back and redirecting its attention to its inline consumer by officially revealing its “White/Black/University Red/” makeup.
A majority of this hoops iteration is devised with black and white tones. For its base layer, the former wraps the leather tongues, runs over down the gridlock-patterned throat and toe boxes and makes up the lateral and medial side underlays. The latter appears along the leather forefoot and heel overlays and shows up along the shoe laces’ accents and mid-foot cabling. Further accents to note include the tongue’s Jumpman logos that are given a “Metallic Silver” finish as well as the subtle “University Red” notes that appear on the forefoot’s “23” hit, heel’s Nike Air tabs, and the tongue tabs. The midsoles — which are bolstered with an aggressively-sized Eclipse cushioning plate — go for the full black look and come supported by angelic outsoles down below.
At the time of writing, Nike Japan loaded these up as “Coming Soon”, so an exact date has yet to be confirmed. These will cost you ¥19,800 (approx. $182 USD) at checkout.
