Aldis Hodge Hosts Deep Dive of Watches Going Under the Hammer for Horological Society of New York

Aldis Hodge has hosted a video preview of seven lots going under the hammer next week in aid of America’s oldest watchmaking society.

Hodge, who is set to play Hawkman in DC’s forthcoming Black Adam, is a member of the Horological Society of New York (HSNY) and was joined by Paul Boutros, Phillip’s Head of Watches Americas and watch industry veteran and HSNY Trustee, Tania Edwards for an online presentation of the watches.

The trio examine the pieces, which range from a corporate-branded Rolex Air-King to a “piece unique” with a micropainted scene of Manhattan Bridge, created specifically for the auction by Arnold & Son.

All proceeds from the “No Reserve” auction will go to HSNY and the organisation’s work to advance horology, which includes offering financial aid to watchmaking institutions and watchmaking students.

Timepieces for HSNY: 2021 Charity Auction is being hosted online by Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo from June 7-14.
