It’s Mother’s Day in the UK and the celebrities have been showering their favourite women with all the love!
David Beckham was keen to show his appreciation for both his own mother, as well as wife and mum to his four kids Victoria Beckham.
Meanwhile, stars including Holly Willoughby, Piers Morgan, and Gordon Ramsay have also taken time to celebrate the ladies who raised them.
Sharing a slew of snaps of his family – including mum Sandra and mother-in-law Jackie Adams – former football pro David, 47, penned sweetly: ‘Today we celebrate our Mum’s ♥️ growing up I couldn’t have wished to have more support and more love in my life than my mums x
‘Then I meet a woman that not only is strong and driven but who is the most amazing mum to our children who inspires them , keeps them grounded and the most important thing showers them with love every single minute of every day x’.
He concluded: ‘Thank you for everything you do for me & our beautiful babies ♥️ we love you ♥️’
Fashion designer Victoria, 48, proved the feeling was very much mutual, as she commented underneath: ‘Love you so much 💕💕💕’
The Spice Girl then shared her own string of snaps, poking fun at her famously stern expression with a cheeky caption.
‘I feel blessed every day to be a mummy.I love you all so so much.You make me smile,(controversial 😂) every day and prouder than you could ever know’, the star penned.
Paying tribute to her other half, she added: ‘@davidbeckham what can I say….. You really are our everything.We have done such a good job,I’m so proud of us!! I love u!!’
The famous couple are parents to four: Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 20, Cruz, 18, and daughter Harper, 11.
In her own Instagram post, This Morning presenter Holly, 42, posed for a smiley selfie alongside her lookalike mamma, holding a bouquet of flowers.
‘Happy Mother’s Day beautiful Mumma… Always there for us in every way… Couldn’t be more blessed… Love you 💗💘🎀🌸’, she wrote.
Controversial broadcaster Piers, 57, proved he does have a heart, as he wrote a loving message alongside a snap of his mother.
‘Happy Mother’s Day to my fabulous mother, who still looks younger than me despite all the stress that comes with being my mother’, he joked, poking fun at the endless headlines he makes with his divisive comments.
Elsewhere, the ladies of Little Mix celebrated Mother’s Day in style.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 31, is a mum to twins, whom she shares with footballer and husband-to-be Andre Gray, also 31.
The pop star has always chosen to keep her little ones’ faces off the internet, and has never confirmed their sex, but she shared the cutest snap of them holding hands for the occasion.
‘Unbelievably blessed to be your mama ❤️’, Leigh-Anne penned.
‘Happy Mothers Day to all of the superhuman mommas out there! Phenomenal isn’t even the word 😩❤️’, with partner Andre commenting a heart eye and love heart emoji.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain went all out for Mother’s Day at his and Perrie Edwards’ home, as the sweet pair – who are also engaged – are parents to Axel, one.
The Liverpool player, 29, arranged a gorgeous balloon arch to be displayed in their home, along with a sign reading, ‘I love you mummy’.
Perrie, also 29, shared snaps to her Instagram Story, along with adorable shots of her son handing her gifts.
‘Feeling very special today’, the X Factor winner wrote.
Meanwhile, celebrity chef Gordon, 56, honoured his mum Helen and wife Tana, whom he married in 1996.
‘Happy Mother’s Day to these two incredible women and to all the mums throughout the UK @helencosgrove71 @tanaramsay ❤️❤️❤️’, he added.
Gordon and Tana are parents to five children: Megan, 24, Jack, 23, Holly, 23, Tilly, 21, and Oscar, three.
Joining in the fun, Spice Girl Emma Bunton posted an touching snap of her mum holding her hand on her wedding day as the singer, 47, wiped away tears.
‘Always holding my hand’, she wrote. ‘The queen of mums. Thank you for all the happy tears.’
Emma is also a mum to Beau, 15, and Tate, 11, whom she shares with husband Jade Jones, 44.
Mollie King marked her first Mother’s Day as a mummy, after welcoming her first child with cricket professional Stuart Broad.
The Saturdays star, 35, gave birth to daughter Annabella in November, just days before the tragic death of beloved dad Stephen.
Sharing a video with her little girl as they walked around the beach, Mollie wrote: ‘I’m so grateful to be your mum every single day, and especially today on Mothers Day. You light up my life beautiful girl and I love you so much ❤️
‘To those celebrating Mothers Day I hope you have a wonderful day’.
Amanda Holden posted a gorgeous snap of herself with her own mum, Judith, along with daughters Alexa, 17, and Hollie, 11.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 52, wrote lovingly: ‘All together… all day. Time is the best gift of all. Love to all of you lucky enough to have it today..a big cuddle and my thoughts to those who don’t .. #mothersday❤️’
Ferne McCann, 32, was also feeling the love, as fiancé Lorri Haines wrote on Instagram: ‘Happy Mother’s Day my queen and baby mumma to be can’t wait to see you be a new mummy all over again’.
The couple are currently expecting their first child together, while Ferne is already a mum to daughter Sunday, five, whom she shares with jailed ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins.
Celebrating her first Mother’s Day was Lottie Tomlinson, 24, who gave birth to son Lucky with boyfriend Lewis Burton, 29, last year.
However, the influencer acknowledged that 2023 was the first time in a long time that Mother’s Day felt like a reason to celebrate, after losing her own mum, Johannah Deakin, to cancer in 2016.
Sharing a video of herself and Lucky on holiday, Lottie wrote: ‘the first time in 6 years this day is a happy one, thanks to you my Lucky. Thank you for making me a Mum and making my dreams come true ❤️ sending so much love to anyone who finds today hard’.
The tanning brand owner then remembered her own mum, who left behind son Louis, 31, along with twins Daisy and Phoebe, 18, and twins Ernest and Doris, nine.
She was also a mum to Félicité, who sadly died in 2019 at the age of 18.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Lottie posted a beautiful picture of her late mum, writing: ‘happy Mother’s Day to my angel. Thank you for sending me my baby boy, and for showing me the kind of mum I want to be. Forever grateful for our love’.
Also honouring her late mum was comedian Dawn French.
‘The best. I miss you. #mothersday’, the 65-year-old actress wrote on Instagram, alongside a precious snap of late mum Felicity.
