Bobby Brazier reduces dad Jeff to tears with dreamy Strictly foxtrot

Bobby Brazier’s dad Jeff could not hold back his tears as he watched his son’s Strictly Come Dancing debut.

The 20-year-old EastEnders star is partnered with Dianne Buswell in Strictly this year and their first dance was a dreamy foxtrot.

Bobby – who plays Freddie Slater in the BBC soap – has confessed to never having watched Strictly in his life, but that didn’t stop him from wowing the judges and viewers with his first routine.

Floating around the ballroom floor to McFly’s All About You, the model had the biggest smile on his face and nailed all the moves.

As soon as his performance finished, the cameras cut to Jeff, 44, who had tears streaming from his eyes.

The TV presenter, 44, was overwhelmed with emotion and pride as he clapped for his eldest son, who he shares with late Big Brother star Jade Goody.

Bobby and Dianne earned themselves a very impressive score of 29 with the routine.

Head judge Shirley Ballas said the actor’s energy was ‘absolutely endearing’.

Shirley also admitted she and fellow judge Anton Du Beke were in ‘shock’ at his footwork skills.

Anton added that he was ‘a bit stunned’ after the routine, hailing it his favourite dance of the night so far.

Following glowing feedback from the judges, host Tess Daly told Bobby: ‘It actually brought a tear to your dad Jeff’s eye.’

‘Oh, not again!’, exclaimed Bobby, who also left his dad emotional recently with a big win at the National Television Awards.

‘It did!’, Tess told him as Jeff waved to his boy from the crowd.

Reacting to the sweet moment, one Twitter user wrote: ‘Jeff crying in the audience really pulled my heartstrings, Bobby is amazing and you can tell how much this means to them both’.
