BRABUS has added to its lineup of supercars with the BRABUS P 900 Rocket Edition. Unveiled to the world at the Monaco Yacht Show, the pickup truck is a “one of ten” model created on a basis provided by a factory-fresh Mercedes-Benz AMG G63.
With an output of 900 hp (662 kW), the powerful Rocket Edition boasts a top speed of 174 mph (280 km/h). The model carries a tailor-made truck bed situated behind a four-seat cab with bedsides constructed out of carbon. The widebody version of the vehicle features carbon wheels developed in partnership with Continental for an elevated look and street-ready performance.
BRABUS compared the Rocket Edition’s performance to that of a sports car. Aluminum coilover suspension allows for a lower center of gravity, making the truck easier to handle and allowing for a sportier driving experience. The company also upgraded the twin-turbo system with its own V8 engine, which produces a maximum torque of 922 lb-ft) (1,250 Nm).
Exclusively for the supercar, BRABUS used a “Rocket Grey” paint finish, while the inside is crafted in fine black leather with bright red details.
