Bradley Walsh took an embarrassing tumble down some stairs during the filming of one of his TV shows recently.

While he might be one of the most successful presenters on our screens, a recent trip-up saw Bradley, 63, fighting to regain his composure.

In an upcoming episode of iconic gameshow Blankety Blank, Bradley fell down the stairs on set after posing a question to the players.

Losing his footing, he suddenly plummeted to the floor as he walked behind former England footballer and I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! winner Jill Scott, while presenter Anthea Turner looked on from above.

While he was close to hitting the floor, Bradley managed to recover quickly and run down the remaining stairs in front of him and managing to get hold of his balance.

While he tried to play it cool, it was clear what had happened, and Jill leaned over to check he was ok before picking up the box behind her that he’d managed to knock over.

Having no issue with poking fun at himself, Bradley told his guests: ‘I could have had you there.’

After the host, guests and live studio audience burst into fits of laughter, Bradley eventually made his way back up to the top of the stage as he dramatically strode up the stairs and then pretended to momentarily hide behind Layton Williams and Jason Watkins.

‘Be kind you lot,’ he joked soon after.

It’s not the only blunder Bradley has suffered in front of the cameras, with the veteran presenter left flustered on The Chase last year after his enthusiasm caused him to break part of his podium.

During a head-to-head round with a contestant and Chaser Mark Labbett, Bradley smacked his hands down on the set after believing a correct answer had been locked in.

Seconds later, he realised he’d broken a bit of the podium and jokingly asked if there was a spare available.

As the host struggled to move on from the mishap, he joked to the contestant: ‘If you win the £35k can you lend me a couple of quid?’
