Cardi B and husband Offset are enjoying a sunkisse holiday in Jamaica as the rapper continues to struggle with the death of friend Takeoff.

Musician Offset, 31, recently admitted he was in a ‘dark place’ weeks after the tragic death of his Migos bandmate and close friend Takeoff.

Takeoff, real name Kirshnick Khari Ball, was shot and killed in November at the age of 28, while attending a private party in Houston, where he is believed to have been an innocent bystander.

Cardi, who is married to Offset, had previously revealed she felt ‘hopeless’ to help her husband out of the dark place he found himself in.

Now the Wap singer has whisked her husband away to the sunkissed island of Jamaica, for sightseeing, food, drinks and watersports.

And going of joyous snaps and videos, the holiday certainly seems to be making a mark on lifting his spirits.

Cardi shared a series of clips to Instagram of her husband, who she married in 2017, first walking down a stone path surrounded by tropical plants, music blaring in the distance, looking relaxed and happy.

In another, the couple set off on the water in a kayak, Cardi sitting in front as Offset paddles from the back, before she suddenly declares: ‘I hate the ocean.’

It appears the I Like It singer got over her hatred of the ocean, as several more clips show her grinning and laughing as Offset takes them further out to sea, jokingly telling her husband: ‘Yeah baby, make it look good for Instagram!’

The pair jetted off to the island as Offset celebrated his 31st birthday, with Cardi sharing a clip of the rapper grinning as she declared: ‘Happy birthday sexy man!’

Birthday boy Offset looked slightly shy as he flashed a grin for the camera, but later got his confidence back as he stripped off to pose by river rapids.

As the sun set, the couple enjoyed a walk along the beach, with Cardi again wishing her husband happy birthday and adding: ‘I love you!’

The night finished off with a conversation countless couples around the world have had – Cardi promising she hadn’t watched The Crown as she was waiting to watch it with him.

And to top it all off, as the rapper opened the door to their hotel room, Cardi had decorated it with balloons, roses and love hearts, to mark his birthday.

The holiday comes amid the devastating aftermath of the death of Takeoff, who was killed while playing dice at a bowling alley when violence kicked off around him.

Cardi had previously opened up about their loss in a now-deleted voice vote, admitting she felt ‘so hopeless’ trying to comfort her partner.

‘No lie, I have been feeling so hopeless trying to make my husband happy, trying to make him to crack a smile,’ the Bodak Yellow rapper, 30, said in the audio, which was picked up by the Neighborhood Talk.

‘‘F**king seeing him randomly cry, seeing him trying to distract his mind, completely f**king schedule been changing, trying to keep up with work after everything that he’s been going through these past couple of weeks.

Offset previously shared his pain with fans with a raw statement following the news of Takeoff’s death, writing to the late musician directly.

He wrote: ‘I know someone with a soul like yours is in heaven now. I hope you can see how much we love you and miss you. You have left a hole in my heart that will never be filled.

‘Give me strength, give your brothers strength, give your family strength.

‘Even though I know you will always be with us, throw me a lil sign or a beautiful dream. I love you forever, 4L and after.’
