Cheryl marks 40th with luxury Suffolk getaway and brings fans along for the ride

Cheryl rang in her 40th birthday on Saturday and made sure to post a handful of photos of the luxury celebrations.

The former Girls Aloud star whisked her nearest and dearest off to a luxury retreat in Suffolk where they enjoyed a spot of glamping, forest feasts, rowing boat jaunts and champagne galore.

Cheryl also gave her three million Instagram followers an insight into her wellbeing, writing: ‘When your 40th reflects your inner feelings… total peace and quiet with all the things and people I love.’

If peace and quiet were Cheryl’s order of the day, she certainly picked the right spot to ring in the milestone birthday: Wilderness Reserve in Suffolk (where the photos were taken) prides itself on its ‘breathtaking natural beauty’ and ‘peace and tranquillity’.

Set over 8,000 acres, Wilderness Reserve bills itself as a ‘playground full of amazing experiences’ and boasts a Grade II listed manor house not to mention thatched cottages and a 15th-century barn.

Cheryl not only shared photos of her birthday on her Instagram Stories but also her grid, writing: ‘So… this is 40.’

Needless to say, thousands of fans flocked to the post to wish her a happy birthday.

Among those wishing her well on the milestone birthday was beauty influencer Jake Jamie, writing: ‘Happiest 40th Birthday Cheryl! Wishing you a year ahead filled with so much love, health and happiness xxx’

Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison wrote: ‘Happy birthday beautiful girl ♥️.’

Nine Zero One salon owner Riawna Capri added: ‘APPY BIRTHDAY QUEEEEN! Misss you sooooo much! ❤️❤️❤️’

Earlier this year, the mother of one thanked her 2:22 A Ghost Story co-stars in an emotional and heartwarming post after her final show.

Cheryl had been getting rave reviews after taking on the role of Jenny in the spooky production back in January, but now she has finished her run at the Lyric Theatre on London’s West End.

Sharing a picture on Instagram with co-stars Louise Ford, Scott Karim, and Jake Wood – who have played Lauren, Sam and Ben respectively – as well as a photo with the whole crew, Cheryl revealed she will be ‘forever grateful’.
