Following his team-up with Porsche and Mandala Club for Singapore Art Week 2023, NYC-based artist Daniel Arsham has revealed his latest sculptural project, which nods to the exact vehicle manufacturer.
The new artwork sees Arsham continue to showcase his affinity for sports cars by paying tribute to the Porsche 930 Turbo produced from 1974 to 1989. The classic automobile is displayed with a baby blue tint, promoting its original construction with detailed accents that bring it to life.
The small-scale sculpture is titled “VEILED PORSCHE,” displayed in Daniel Arsham’s typical design language that boasts a flowing car cover frozen mid-air. As if preserved through time, Arsham employs an antique draping technique that showcases the vintage vehicle in transit, giving off a contemporary feel.
The 387-millimeter artwork will be delivered in unique Arsham Studio boxing and weighs a hefty 7.3-kilograms. Each piece is individually numbered via three-dimensional authenticity cards and will feature white art-handling gloves for protective care.
Take a closer look at the Daniel Arsham “VEILED PORSCHE” sculpture in the gallery above. It will be available for purchase on January 13 at 12 p.m. EST via Arsham’s website.
