Back in 2018 — before all of the required stay-at-home regulations were in place — Descente ALLTERRAIN and Suicoke got a head start on the sandal train be teaming up for a collaborative DSV-1 project. Fast forward to the present day, and the two parties are introducing the next chapter of product team-ups with a brand new silhouette dubbed the KISEE-DSV.
Much like the project from three years ago, this new footwear offering is completely submerged in black, but features an entirely new aesthetic and functionality features. The new model steers away from the thicker styled buckles and instead elects to have three thinner Block Fit Adjusters — two in the forefoot and one in the heel — to keep your feet secured in place and sport a more airy vibe. Additionally, this new cozy proposal also comes packaged with a breathable urethane sock liner for wearers to utilize for a different way of styling.
Vibram footbeds proffer a comfortable foundation and the treading come finished down a tooth-like Shark Sole textures which simultaneously supply a sporty look and functional grip.
Retail price for these KISEE-DSV Sandals is set at ¥38,000 (approx. $356 USD).
Elsewhere in footwear, Suicoke recently partnered with Fumito Ganryu for a coral Urich collaboration.
