Drake psyched himself up for an ice bath on Tuesday and treated fans to one hell of a thirst trap while he was at it.
The 36-year-old rapper, real name Aubrey Drake Graham, no doubt sent millions of heartrates through the roof with his new snap, in which he wore just a (very low hanging) towel.
The Hotline Bling crooner captioned the picture: ‘5 min cold plunge for the soul,’ and made sure all eyes were on his impeccably ripped torso.
With his arms partially raised, the Canadian star seemed to be amping himself up before submerging his body in sub-zero temperatures.
A basketball game was on the TV behind the rapper and his mighty impressive tattoo collection could also be seen.
It comes after Drake caused outrage when he abruptly dropped out of a music festival.
He was supposed to headline Brazil’s Lollapalooza festival late last month but confirmed he wouldn’t be taking to the stage with just hours to go.
The festival confirmed Drake would no longer be performing in an Instagram message that read: ‘Due to unforeseen circumstances, Drake is without members of his sound and production team, essential to the realization of the Lollapalooza show in Sao Paulo.
‘Drake was excited to perform for his fans in Brazil. Unfortunately, this is beyond his control. Sorry.’
Needless to say, fans were quick to fill the comment section with angry remarks.
One person wrote: ‘Drake [is] Brazil’s enemy,’ while another added: ‘Honestly now the number of cancellations at festival’s this year is ridiculous! So little respect for people who organize, invest money, travel, etc!’
Another social media user wrote: ‘pls don’t call drake ever again,’ while someone else added: ‘Irresponsible! He is a GIANT artist, the biggest today in terms of streams, and doesn’t have a team?’
‘Someone who earns 20 million to put on a show has no right to have staff problems,’ fumed another Instagrammer.
Days earlier, Drake performed at Lollapalooza Argentina and the hitmaker’s set was said to be only 40 minutes as opposed to 90.
The Grammy winner also refused to allow the set to be live-streamed, MSN reports, sharing a statement from organisers that read: ‘Drake decided, minutes before going on stage, to not permit the live transmission of his show, despite the formal agreement reached earlier. We regret the artist’s decision.’
Metro.co.uk reached out to Drake’s reps for comment at the time.
