Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi Sold This $21 Million Six-Acre Compound for the 2nd Time — See the Photos!

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi aren’t stopping their insane, money-making real estate game anytime soon. In fact, they already kicked off 2023 by selling off a Montecito property for the second time. Yes, you read that right; they sold this house a second time.

Let’s backtrack a bit: the couple originally bought the house when it was only $7 million back in 2017. Like always, they quickly renovated and updated it, selling it off to Tinder cofounder Sean Rad for $11 million in 2018. However, Rad resold it to them for $14.3 million in 2021 after doing some renovations of his own. Now, DeGeneres and de Rossi renovated it further, selling it off for a whopping $21 million to Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe and her husband Michael Herd. (Isn’t it kinda bonkers that two dating app founders bought the place?! We understand why though.)

So back to the compound, this place is insanely opulent. We’re talking about a private, six-acre cobblestone compound with a total of three bedrooms and four huge bathrooms. Not only that, there are so many gorgeous details and amenities inside the home, we might lose count of it all. And outside the home, there is a lush olive grove and garden that we’re sure anyone would love to get lost in.

Marvel at this home with us while you check out the photos here, and on Dirt!
