Premier League football team Tottenham Hotspur is uniting with Formula 1 to debut a first-of-its-kind karting experience in the British capital.
Formula 1 and Tottenham Hotspur are shifting the gears on their 15-year partnership, opening the world’s first in-stadium karting facility. The large venue will reside beneath Tottenham Hotspur’s South Stand stadium, featuring immersive audio gadgets that make drivers feel like they’re on outdoor tracks. F1 DRIVE creates an authentic racing experience for all driving enthusiasts, welcoming people from all ages, genders, and driving levels.
Adult and junior tracks will provide safe runways with access for all, while two diverse kart sizes are designed for all-encompassing family fun. F1 DRIVE is constructed with engaging in-kart audio technology and pre-made recordings voiced by Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, and Charles Leclerc during seasonal Grand Prix races, with additional notes by British broadcaster David Croft and Belgian presenter Naomi Schiff. The karts are equipped with new Drag Reduction Systems and 18cm LED displays that provide real-time statistics, supplying an immersive experience that can’t be missed.
F1 DRIVE London will open to the public in early 2024.
