Freddie Gibbs and The Colleagues have once again linked up to deliver their brand new collab, “Gimme The Loot.”
Clocking in at just under three minutes, the cut hears Gibbs spit over sharp hi-hats and a repeating synth. The Colleagues create a menacing atmosphere for the Gary, Indiana rapper to lay out his plans for domination and his unforgivingly braggadocious bars about cars, money and his new place that’s “worth a couple million.”
“Gimme The Loot” arrives almost exactly a year after their 2020 collab “Red Vans,” and is one of the several partnerships Gangsta Gibbs has been part of since his GRAMMY-nominated project with The Alchemist, Alfredo. This also marks both Kane and The Colleagues’ first release of 2021, with the group’s last drop dating to February 2020’s Love Dates and Heartbreaks.
