G-SHOCK‘s massively popular CasiOak is back again, and this time round Casio has given it a spectacular makeover. Boasting a sharp gold and black two-tone colorway, the new model utilizes ion-plating to create its brilliant gold shine on a stainless steel bezel measuring 44mm wide.
For those with a smaller wrist or prefer a more compact model, there’s also a 40mm variant. Both feature the same metallic black dial with a gilt-painted “G-SHOCK” logo by 12 o’clock, ion-plated minute and hour hands, push buttons, and resin case. The rest of the watch is completed by a sleek black resin strap to give the gold extra pop, while a 200m water-resistance rating gives you plenty of assurance from water damage.
Unfortunately, there are no details around availability just yet, so those interested should stay tuned for more updates from G-SHOCK.
Elsewhere in watches, STAPLE has joined Fossil for a set of collaborative timepieces inspired by the latter’s archival styles.
