London-based designer Marino Morwood has taken on the iconic canvass of G-SHOCK’s DW-5600 for his first collaboration.
The designer, whose graphic rap tees were quickly picked up by the likes of A$AP Rocky, Playboi Carti and Quavo in 2016, has paired a white resin G-SHOCK DW-5600 with a custom printed strap bearing the orange and light blue colors of his CETRA VISIONS brand.
“G-SHOCK sees the vision and understands that we don’t want to do anything half-hearted, so with them giving a young brand the reins to create our first collaboration, they allowed us to take the watch into CETRA VISIONS’ world,” said Marino Morwood.

Since finding success five years ago, Morwood has been developing his designs, packed with 90s nostalgia, into increasingly popular limited edition runs, eventually launching the CETRA VISIONS brand in 2019.
To celebrate the collaboration G-SHOCK is presenting a special edition of its G-SHOCK SESSIONS program with a live stream Q&A session with Morwood on August 5 with tickets available from G-SHOCK.
The DW-5600CETRA-7ER, a limited edition run of 200 pieces, drops in August via G-SHOCK and at the G-SHOCK Store on London’s Carnaby Street, priced $164 USD (£119 GBP).
Elsewhere in watches, Richard Mille marks the return of Le Mans Classic with new automatic.
