Gemma Collins 'could have a baby at 50': 'I can have the best doctors on call'

Gemma Collins opened up about her plans to have children in the future and admitted she wasn’t worried about growing older.

Speaking about motherhood, the 42-year-old revealed she didn’t need a surrogate because she had ‘the best doctors going’ and explained she still hoped to conceive naturally.

The TOWIE star also shared that she had PCOS and so could not be sure when the moment for pregnancy would arrive.

Gemma was at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show when she was questioned about her future and whether she was planning to add mini-mes into the mix.

She told OK magazine in answer to their questioning about surrogacy: ‘I don’t think I’ll need to.

‘I’m The GC, honey. I can have the best doctors going. I’ll just ring one up and say, “Right, come on, get me pregnant!”’

The reality TV favourite went on to explain her current stance on being childless and explained that she knew she wasn’t ready to be pregnant in her younger years.

Gemma shared: ‘Obviously, I’ve got PCOS and all of that. I could have a child at 50.

‘If I’d had kids sooner, I would probably have been crazy, whereas now, I’m Miss Organic, I can just be at Zen with the child.

‘Going to the mother and toddler groups never interested me, unless it’s Knightsbridge, darling.

‘And I’m happy to host my own one indoors or around the vegetable patch. A bit of organic pressed champagne!’

Gemma previously suffered a miscarriage in 2020 and tragically lost another baby in 2012 after giving birth to the child in her home when it was only four and a half months old.

Currently engaged to her partner Rami Hawash, Gemma admitted she was eager to expand her family at some point after she became a step-mum to Rami’s five-year-old son Tristan.

She continued sharing with the publication: ‘It’s a lot having a kid.

‘It’s a big commitment but it’s also very rewarding. But my life will take me where it’s going to take me. It’s taken me this far and as sure as hell it’s not over yet.’
