Shortly after confirming a sequel for its 2021 blockbuster Godzilla vs. Kong, Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures have now announced the official release date for the upcoming film. Scheduled to hit theaters on March 15, 2024, the film will be reuniting English actor Dan Stevens with the first installment’s director Adam Wingard for the first time since their collaboration in 2014’s The Guest.
Stevens’ character is undisclosed for the time being, but early reports suggest he’ll take on the lead role for the follow-up to the MonsterVerse’s first ensemble movie.
For now, no official synopsis has been released yet and other information revolving around the sequel remains scarce, so those interested should definitely stay tuned for more updates to come.
Elsewhere in entertainment, Taron Egerton confirms he’s been in talks with Marvel to join the franchise as Wolverine.
