Gucci’s experimental online space Vault has dug into the house’s vibrant history with its newest bag offering. Titled “Gucci Vintage Treasures,” the drop features a curated variety of rare vintage items.
Leading the charge is a catalog of highly limited one-of-a-kind bags. The list of bags features a 1960s custom bamboo leather bag with strawberry details, a 1990s bamboo satin mini bag in gold, a 1990s vintage leather tote-style bag with bamboo handles, a 1990s purple suede shoulder bag with bamboo handles, a 1970s custom GG Plus boston bag, a 1970s horsebit velvet shoulder bag in rich orange and more. With its catalog of leather shoulder, crossbody and tote bag styles, the offering perfectly showcases Gucci’s past and contemporary maximalist styles.
Also included in the drop is a 1970s silk floral top with a matching skirt alongside an assortment of colorful printed silk scarves. To further emphasize each item’s uniqueness, the pieces come with tailor-made packaging and an exclusive dust bag. The packaging’s outside also comes outfitted with a range of multicolored patterns and shapes.
