Basketball star Guo Ailun signed with Jordan Brand back in 2017 as the division’s first Chinese athlete. Shortly thereafter, he received a PE on the Air Jordan 33 SE and has crafted a PE on each Air Jordan that has been released since. Just under a year ago, Ailun’s Air Jordan 37 PE was revealed in white and jade. Now, the Jumpman team has revisited this color scheme with his take on the recently-introduced Air Jordan 38.
This time around, white kicks things off as the upper’s choice of color. From there, the typical usage of jade starts at the heel, where the Jumpman logo and a heel panel favor the bluish-green color, matching the left and right shoe’s Ailun and Jumpman branding respectively. The upper’s base layer utilizes a bright blue, matching portions of the midsole with the green tint similarly dressing the sole unit alongside bursts of yellow.
Hang tight as no details pertaining to the release of Guo Ailun’s Air Jordan 38 PE have been disclosed by the Swoosh. It’s likely to touch down on shelves worldwide via Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers by the end of the year at a price of $200 USD.
