Dubai’s Etisalat Market Outside the Box kicked off its 10th edition market with more shopping, entertainment and activities than ever before.
The retail festival welcomed thousands of people to the decorated “New York industrial-style” space in the city’s Design District. Despite the East Coast theme, Etisalat MOTB stayed dedicated to offering the best in Middle-Eastern labels, featuring Emirati vegan leather label Wadi D and sneaker reseller Seven Miles amongst the fashion and lifestyle pop-ups. As well as established labels, the focus on local vendors also extended to emerging makers, making the market one of the largest in its 10 year history.
With a schedule spanning day to night, it was the host of performances at Etisalat MOTB that saw visitors returning to the event throughout the week. A line-up of underground Arab artistscurated by Dubai Beats brought a festival-like atmosphere to Etisalat MOTB. Along with basketball courts, acrobatic shows and beauty demonstrations, the variety of entertainment showcased how shopping experiences are being reimagined as multi-faceted attractions at Etisalat MOTB and other markets in the Middle East.
