HOKA has announced the latest addition to its hike line, the Anacapa 2 GTX, a lightweight waterproof hiker available in Mid, Low, and Youth models.
The shoes, made from “preferred materials” are available in a wide range of colorways, with our favorites being the Dune/Oxford Tan and Olive Haze/Mercury. HOKA shared that the updated shoes are designed to offer hikers all-day comfort and reliability for use on any trail.
Hy Rosario, the Director of Outdoor and Kids Product at HOKA, praised the shoe’s lightweight, weather performance, and eco-friendly construction, stating that “We are excited to share a hiker that treads lighter on the environment and enables you
and your family to joyfully explore the outdoors together.”
Notable preferred materials used in the construction of the shoes include a midsole made from 30 percent Sugarcane EVA, a PU sock-liner with fifty percent soybean oil formula and other areas constructed with a blend of recycled materials.
The Anacapa 2 Mid GTX model introduces a redesign of HOKA’s Achilles heel cradle, designed to offer enhanced fit precision, comfort and ultimately safety.
For those interested in purchasing the updated Anacapa 2 GTX Mid, Low, or Youth, they can be found on HOKA’s official site for $195 USD, $180 USD and $140 USD respectively.
