I’m A Celebrity stars Dean Gaffney and Joe Swash’s gruesome nightmare continues, as they’re faced with even more vile concoctions to drink.

During Monday’s instalment, the former EastEnders actors made their entrance as newcomers, so it was only right for the duo to face their first trial together.

Tuesday’s episode saw the pair having to drink the deadliest combinations from blended maggots to cow vaginas and animal testicles, in a bid to win a treat for each of their campmates.

Before the stars got stuck in, host Ant said: ‘This is possibly the most disgusting piece of television I’ve ever been involved in. And we’ve done some disgusting things.’

Naturally, both Dean and Joe struggled to keep it down which left them both constantly gagging, much to Ant and Dec’s amusement.

And it looks like viewers will have to watch behind their fingers as they’ll be back at it again tonight.

Tonight’s edition sees blended crocodile foot is on the menu for Dean as he tries to earn a snack for Diversity dancer Jordan Banjo. And Joe faces blended kudu anus as he tries to win cheese for TV personality Myleene Klass.

‘I can’t believe I’m doing this for brie!’ he says

Joe worries for Dean as he faces a liquid challenge for Janice Dickinson’s treat, saying: ‘Janice will eat you alive if you don’t drink this.”’

While some fans were here for the duo’s chaos others blasted the vile trial, which aired on Tuesday night.

His return for the all-stars edition of the show will mark his reunion with his fellow competitor Myleene, who was the runner-up on his season.

Elsewhere during last night’s show, former boxer Amir Khan was the first celeb eliminated by the camp.

‘This has been the craziest week I’ve ever had,’ Amir said before the vote took place cementing his exit.

The next morning, he admitted that the mood in camp ‘wasn’t the best’ at the prospect of someone leaving the group.

When he found out that he had been sent home, Amir was overjoyed with excitement at the prospect of FaceTiming his kids, who he said he’d been missing a lot.

I’m A Celebrity… South Africa returns tomorrow at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
