IWC Schaffhausen has unveiled the latest timepiece to join its popular “Le Petit Prince” series: the Timezoner.
Taking on the lineup’s signature deep blue color scheme with a sunburst effect on its dial, the new Timezoner comes in a robust 46mm stainless steel case, with a larger crown at 3 o’clock emblematic of classic fliegers, which were intended for use by aviators wearing thicker gloves. As usual, the watch is powered by IWC’s inhouse 82760 Calibre, a fully automatic movement offering a date indicator by 3 o’clock and a second timezone in the window under 12 o’clock, which works in tandem with the city-engraved bezel. Completing the timepiece is a power reserve of 60 hours, a six-bar water-resistance, and a brown calfskin strap in a standard pilot’s watch styling.
Limited to just 1,500 pieces made, IWC Schaffhausen’s latest Pilot’s Watch Timezoner Le Petit Prince is now available over on the company’s website for $13,800 USD.
Elsewhere in watches, Zenith has dressed the world’s fastest chronograph in khaki green for an Urban Jungle edition.
