Kid Cudi took to Twitter/X to share some updates about his upcoming album INSANO.
The artist revealed in a series of tweets that the project will have more than 40 tracks between the main album and deluxe(s), hinting that INSANO could feature more than just one deluxe version during its album cycle. “I ended up makin some more shit cuz I was in the f*ckin zone and I wanted to make something undeniable and change my entire live experience,” he shared in response to a fan, continuing, “This album was made for tour next year. Get ready.”
Cudder added that INSANO could remind long-time fans of his 2013 album Indicud, “I got a chance to work w some really dope producers Ive never worked with before. We got Dot, of course, but pretty much outside of him and a couple other cats, its all new energy, which allowed me to go to new places and revisit some old vibes too. This album has a very INDICUD tone but on a TRILLION.”
“I am positive this album will have everything u need from me, the fun, the deep thoughts, the inspiration to go out and live ur life and be great, the love, the madness, all of it,” he wrote in a separate tweet. “And I have a wonderful cast of features that im sure u all will love.”
In early September, he announced the delay of INSANO to January 2024 to ensure that “everything lines up and I give y’all the best version of myself.”
Elsewhere in music, Outkast’s Speakerboxxx/The Love Below was certified 13x platinum.
