This weekend the WWE held its highly-anticipated annual WrestleMania event, helping make the two-day spectacle special, Lil Uzi Vert made a special appearance. Ahead of The Usos, Joshua Samuel Fatu and Jonathan Solofa Fatu’s match against 8 Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship, the rapper performed “Just Wanna Rock.”
Lil Uzi Vert’s performance marks his WWE debut and the rapper may have shared that this isn’t the last time we’ll see him. During a backstage interview, Uzi shared his excitement about being around people he’s seen on TV and teased possibly stepping into the ring at WrestleMania 40. “I wanted to get in the ring, I was ready to get in the ring. But you’ll see me in April, Philadelphia 2024, so I don’t wanna give up all the surprises. But you’ll see me there.”
Following WrestleMania 39 in Inglewood, California, next year’s annual event will be taking place in Uzi’s hometown of Philadelphia. The rapper also shared that if he makes his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 40, he wants to go up against Dominik Mysterio.
WrestleMania 39 was hosted by Snoop Dogg alongside the Miz, with Spanish commentary provided by Bad Bunny.
