Looking For Doctor Manhattan on Watchmen? He Might Be Hiding in Plain Sight
Although HBO’s Watchmen is a sequel to the graphic novel of the same name, one of its major characters has yet to make an appearance on the show: the formidable Doctor Manhattan. Practically omnipresent, Manhattan’s presence would signify a major shift in the power dynamics of the story thanks to his superpowers. Creator Damon Lindelof — no doubt aware of how Manhattan would throw the characters into upheaval — is keeping the character’s fate close to his chest, but a recent comment on his Instagram hints we’ll definitely see the blue man again. Until then, we can only speculate where the uncaring god has been hiding.
