Mac Miller‘s album Swimming has just become his first platinum-selling record.
The album was released in 2018 just two weeks before his untimely death, a drug overdose at his home in Los Angeles. Miller has since been posthumously making headway for a handful of accolades, like earning a platinum plaque for his track “Self Care”, and now the beloved rapper’s final album has become his most successful. Miller earned the RIAA certification just three days ago. The recognition is a nod to the late artist’s much-celebrated legacy.
