After revealing its Pre-Spring 2023 collection, Maharishi now delivers a first look at its annual Lunar New Year capsule. The upcoming Year of the Rabbit marks the arrival of the fourth animal in the Chinese zodiac which is said to be the luckiest of the twelve animals — symbolizing elegance, mercy, and beauty.
The collection consists of a range of graphic tees, luxe velvet tour jackets, cotton sweats, caps, and loose-fitting Original Snopants® featuring artworks inspired by symmetrical paper-cutting designs and woodblock prints by guest artist Allister Lee. Snopants® are cut from durable Italian cotton ripstop featuring articulated knee sections and patented cords which allow for a fully adjustable waist and hem. Rounding out the assortment are tees displaying the Songoku, Monkey King and Jeweled Hare by the Moon artwork by Ukiyo-e artist Tsukioka Yoshitoshi and camp collar shirts in ecru, constructed from a Japanese cupro twill.
The full collection and lookbook are now available on the Maharishi website. Prices range from $110 to $570 USD.
