ROARINGWILD has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2022 collection lookbook. Established in 2010, the streetwear label consistently delivers wearable pieces which add versatility to urban street styles. The brand is also committed to driving local youth culture and sees clothing as a carrier of life views, thus inspiring wearers to express their own opinions through the attitude of “ROAR.”
The upcoming assemblage is inspired by Yugoslavia’s brutalist Spomenik Monuments which are found in remote areas within the mountain ranges and forests in Eastern Europe. Resembling space-age works, the other-worldly WWII sculptures were commissioned by then-President Josip Broz Tito in the ’60s and ’70s. Capturing the imagination of the ROARWILD team many decades later, the upcoming collection consists of a variety of grayscale colors, abstract graphics, and textured fabrics as the brand crafts its vision of the future. Pictured amidst degraded concrete pillars, the pieces feel cyberpunk, rough, and intentional, incorporating elements of fitted sportswear, careful tailoring, and exaggerated leisurewear.
