Chitose Abe‘s sacai has announced a release date for its latest collaborative wares with Kaikai Kiki artist MADSAKI and heritage American label Schott NYC. First seen included in sacai‘s Fall/Winter 2022 lookbook alongside special-edition Nike Cortez and other outwear silhouettes.
The pieces in collaboration with MADSAKI include wool melton blousons, knit cardigans, drop-shoulder pullovers, hoodies, tees, and varsity jackets featuring the artist’s “m” signature over the heart, co-branding on the left sleeve, and playful “Sheeple, Zombies, and Kool-Aid” slogan across the back. Arriving with similar branding accents are a number of triple-collaborative pieces enlisting the expertise of Schott, featuring MA-1 flight jackets and road-worthy leather rider jackets. Rounding out the assortment are specialty pieces from Schott and sacai including extended moto jackets and cropped turtleneck down jackets.
The MADSAKI and Schott collaborations will be available exclusively on sacai’s website and at the Aoyama store August 26.
