Founded in 2003 by Daisuke Yokoyama and Katsuki Araki, Sasquatchfabrix. has built a reputation for its contemporary reworks of traditional silhouettes and distinct fusions of eastern and western styles. After completing a recent revamp of its website, the label uploads its new Spring/Summer 2023 collection lookbook titled “Value The Working Class.”
Continuing the themes from last year’s “AI-DA” collection, the assortment consists of detailed and loose-cut pieces which play boldly with color and patterns. Drawing inspiration from the forms of traditional Japanese garments and finishing, Sasquatchfabrix. delivers statement pieces such as hand-printed “Urushi” work coats, boat-neck waffle sweatshirts, denim piped stem slacks, rasta-patterned open-collar shirts, and woodblock print trenchcoats. Additional accessories include long brim earmuff hats, leather pouches featuring waxed cotton bowline knot netting, and fortune slip-ons incorporating lace fringe details and Vibram soles.
