Sharon Osbourne has admitted she believes she’s lost too much weight.
The former X Factor judge and wife of rockstar Ozzy Osbourne has been open about her noticeable weight loss in recent months but has now said she’s been questioning how far she’s gone.
Appearing with her family, including son Jack and daughter Kelly, on Piers Morgan Uncensored this week, Sharon, 70, made a brief comment on her weight.
Showing her trimmed down figure on the show, Sharon admitted: ‘It’s just time to stop, I didn’t actually want to go this thin, but it just happened.
‘I’ll probably put it all on again soon!’ she added.
These comments came after Sharon spoke about using Ozempic, which is offered as a treatment for people with type 2 diabetes but which some have been using to lose weight, in order to achieve her new figure.
In an interview earlier this year, Sharon revealed she’d shed 30 pounds (2 stone) thanks to the drug.
Drugs such as Ozempic and the prescription medication Wegovy have controversially come to the forefront of public consciousness after some celebrities and influencers have pushed it as a ‘quick and easy’ way to lose a few pounds.
However, these drugs are meant to only be used for people with diabetes, with a shortage now being sparked by others trying to secure a supply.
But a few months back Sharon said she didn’t want her use of it to be a ‘dirty little secret’ and that there was no need for people to ‘bulls***’ about taking something to help them lose weight.
While she had since stopped taking the drug, Sharon said she was ‘at the point of losing too much’ and that she was now facing having to ‘try and maintain’ her weight.
‘In my life, the heaviest I was 230 pounds, and I’m now under 100. And I want to maintain at about 105 because I’m too skinny. But I’m trying to have a healthy balance,’ she added when speaking to E! News.
Around the same time Sharon also insisted using Ozempic to lose weight wasn’t ‘cheating’, and she insisted people should ‘lighten up’ about the use of the drug.
She told MailOnline: ‘People think that it’s a way of cheating, because you didn’t work out for three hours a day, or you don’t have some brilliant new trainer so you’re cheating. It’s not cheating.
‘It’s just something that you choose to lose weight. So, what is the biggie? I don’t get it.’
Piers Morgan: Uncensored airs weeknights at 8pm on TalkTV.
