SNS announced its latest collaboration with New Balance in honor of their first team-up for the “Round One” pack in 2005. The story goes that SNS co-founders Erik and Peter paid a visit to the famous New Balance factory in Filmby, UK, and were given ten minutes to design their first New Balance 577s collaboration due to time constraints. Ultimately, 96 pairs of each colorway sold out in seconds.
The latest collaboration brings back the two iconic colorways to relive the remarkable event and celebrate 40 years of the New Balance factory in Filmby, this time imagined on the New Balance 991. Manufactured in Filmby, the new 991s are crafted with an ABZORB midsole and feature premium leather and pigskin suede overlays. Like the two original pairs, Erik’s design comes in a yellow, blue, and white colorway, whereas Peter’s sees a combination of dark navy, white, and gray.
Priced at $259 USD, the SNS x New Balance 991 Pack will be released exclusively at all SNS locations and the SNS online store on February 26.
