The anticipation over the The Weeknd‘s next The Dawn Is Coming chapter is building up immensely, and it’s now confirmed that the Toronto-born artist has a new track on the way titled “Moth To A Flame” which is a striking collaboration with the iconic EDM group Swedish House Mafia. The new track was previewed via The Weeknd’s social channels in the form of a short video.
In the mystifying clip — which can be seen here below — the GRAMMY-award winning crooner’s face is in focus, and he’s simply shown rocking a pair of solid black sunglasses as a beam of a teal-tined light shines down upon him. His vocals are playing in the background, but they’re distorted just enough that you can’t really make out the lyrics just yet. Additionally, an intense synth sound makes its presence felt for a majority of the video and the sound eventually transitions to a blaring noise while the song’s namesake and both artists names get plastered onto the screen in bold white font.
In recent memory, The Weeknd made his way onto Kanye West’s chart-topping DONDA record for “Hurricane” and he also just announced that his 2022 After Hours Arena Tour is being slightly modified into a stadium tour to best suit the needs of the fans and his performance.
